I had always wanted a driving licence to get to work. Over the years, I tried learning on and off with my husband and my kids, but had no success. Health problems stopped me from trying for a long while, and I'd all but given up. Then I found Bill! I finally passed my test on the first attempt the year before I retired. Now I'm driving everywhere. It proves you're never too old to learn, especially if you've got a wonderful teacher like Bill.

Bill, you are a fantastic Driving Instructor! Your friendly and helpful style of teaching got me top marks, and I passed my test first time with flying colours. I really couldn't have done it without you.

I needed to get my licence before going away to Uni. It was a close thing, but you managed to teach me everything I needed to know. If not for your never ending patience, I'm sure I wouldn't have managed to pass my test so soon. Thanks for everything, Bill.

I was expecting my first child, and needed to have a driving licence for getting around. I'd never driven before but wanted to learn before I got too busy...plus, it would be easier to get to my parent's place for childminding when I started back at work. Bill had a good clean and comfortable car, and was really courteous and helpful — managing my lessons between my work and other medical appointments. I couldn't have asked for a better teacher, nor a friendlier person. Thank you so much for all your help Bill — you're a legend.

Having tried many instructors over the last 20 years and failed a few tests, I was beginning to wonder if I would ever drive. After a 15 year break, I summoned the courage to try again. This time I passed first time — and in plenty of time. Since passing I've kind of got addicted to driving, as you said I would. I wanted to say thanks for teaching me well.

Bill was always punctual and able to accommodate me around school hours. We moved onto manoeuvres quickly to improve clutch control and confidence in my driving. Bill always explained everything clearly and calmly. I have just passed on my first attempt under Bill's guidance (he was recommended to me by someone else who had passed first time).

Bill is a great instructor!!! I would highly recommend him, he has a nice clean car, he's punctual and he gives encouragement and advice which led me to pass first time!!! Bill pushes you to perfection! Thanks Bill, you were fantastic!!
